As the story goes, Don Pepin Garcia, a blending legend, had been teaching his son, Jaime Garcia, the family tradition of making fine cigars. Unbeknownst to Don Pepin, one day Jaime decided to blend a cigar on his own. When his project was finished, Don Pepin was presented with his son's effort and was immediately taken back by how great these cigars were. He then asked his son what he would name the cigar. Jaime responded that he would name this cigar My Father, as a tribute to Don Pepin. He was immediately overcome with emotion and broke down in tears. And that's how My Father Cigars came to be.
