Padrons Now Available in Square Tubos

No two activities go better hand in hand than cigars, and golf. Padron has just made this equation much easier; with the release of two new sizes in boxed pressed tubes. You can now throw a 1964 padron in your golf bag without the worry of pulling out a damaged cigar. The two sizes released are the Presidente (6 x 50) and the Soberano (5 x 52). Both sizes are box-pressed, offered in natural and maduro wrapper, and come in square, two-piece aluminum tubes packed in 15 count boxes. This release follows the success of Padron’s first tubo release in the form of the PadrĂ³n 1926 Serie No. 90. Unlike the No. 90; Padron has decided to stick to their classic boxed press format, and its original 1964 blend that has been a staple in many humidors since its release in 1994.

Blend Info:
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Maduro / Natural
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Smoking Experince:
The tube itself is extremely attractive, and is constructed out of a high grade aluminum. The tube will definitely protect the cigar from almost anything. It also makes for a great presentation if your gifting the cigar to someone. After lighting the cigar; the initial thing most people notice when smoking a Padron is the cigars draw. Padrons tend to be on the looser side; putting out tons of thick textured smoke. The cigar provides ample flavors of semi-sweet baking chocolate, earth, leather, and just the right amount of pepper to balance everything nicely. The cigar stays pretty consistent for me throughout as far as the flavors go, but when the flavors are this good that's not a bad thing. The cigar also starts, and finishes squarely between medium and full bodied. Over the years the 1964 line has been a go-to for many cigar smokers including myself. Now with the edition of the Padron 1964 Tubos it's become even more convenient to grab one on the go.  ~Brandon Ribbing, 2017
